Rivalry Week!

If you’re a Wolverine or Sparty fan, then you know the big game is coming up soon!

Starting October 18 and going through October 29 (ending at 1pm on Friday, Oct 29), we’re going to be collecting non-perishable food items for a local food pantry – Neighborhood House. There will be two bins set up (one for MSU and one for UofM) and you can vote for your favorite team by putting your items in the appropriate bin (UofM is ranked 8th compared to MSU’s 10th…just saying).

For each item you donate, you will get a ticket. That’s right…you put in 1 item, you get 1 ticket. Put in 22 items, you get 22 tickets!

Whichever team wins on October 30 (cough UofM cough), we’ll select a grand prize winner and 2 other prize winners from the corresponding team bin. To be fair to the Sparty fans, we’ll also pick a winning ticket from that bin.

Obviously, I’m rooting for UofM here. But it’s a big day and whichever team wins, we hope to have some good stuff to donate to the Neighborhood House. So please help us help them. The prizes will be announced shortly but will likely be a free visit of some sort and some other goodies.

You don’t need to be a ‘current’ patient to participate in the raffle, but you must be (or have been) a patient to participate. Of course, anyone is free to drop off items, so please spread the word. You can drop your non-perishable items off at your next appointment or during business hours.
